I have been a carpenter and remodeling expert for over 12 years, and in the building trades

for nearly 25.  I am proficient in many areas- from tiling to hardwood floors, rough carpentry

and finish carpentry, electric as well as plumbing, brick paver patios and outdoor carpentry

projects - but my skills and passion are for carpentry and renovation.

I founded Nixon Construction and Design in 2004.

I tackle all kinds of jobs- from large-scale projects such as custom home building,

basement finishing or full addition design/ construction, to smaller projects such

as bathroom remodels, brick paver patios, custom decks and pergolas.

My goal is to give the client the project they expected and dreamed of, but also to give them a positive experience with a contractor they can trust. Remodeling projects can be a stressful thing to go through for homeowners. I feel that it is my responsibility to put that burden upon my shoulders and not the clients.  So leave it to me to handle all project management details- permit applications, deliveries, inspection coordination, etc.

My hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 7am - 7pm.  Sunday appointments are available upon request.

My service area is Williamson, Davidson, Rutherford, Wilson, Sumner, and Cheatham counties.
